There are lots of ways to take up cycling, whether you want to do it for pleasure or you have your eyes on the prize.
Join a club
There are over 1,600 clubs affiliated to British Cycling across Great Britain – with road, track, cross country and BMX racing among the activities you can take up.
Whatever your age and whatever your skill level, find your nearest clubs.
Ride to work
If you saddle up for the daily commute, or are considering it, there are some great tips on safety, bike maintenance, and plenty more.
You can also be part of a social cycling group – buddying up with other cyclists in your area and discovering new routes, or creating your own group.
If you want to really push yourself and follow in the footsteps of the likes of Bradley Wiggins and Laura Trott, you can ride a sportive.
