How to become an aquatics volunteer

Make a splash and dive into volunteering at a local, regional or national level.

Aquatics clubs are always on the lookout for extra help, and if you can spare even an hour a week, your time will make a real difference.

Roles can include teaching or coaching for those who prefer to be poolside, or range from designing a website, fundraising or ordering kit for the club if you prefer to keep dry.

Find out more about some of the roles available, and find your nearest club to see if you can lend a hand.

Help at an event

As well as helping out at your local club, you can also play a key role at an event, be it selecting the music for the medal presentations or helping with IT and technology and everything inbetween.

Read more about some of the roles and email events@swimming.org if you are interested in getting involved.

Go regional

Get involved in aquatics at a county and regional level – roles include running training to develop our next generation of volunteers to sitting on a regional board that will shape the future of the sport in the area.

Find out more about the roles available, and email volunteering@swimming.org if you are interested in helping out.
